Our approach to network coverage

Multiswap supports established networks across major layer-1 blockchains and leading layer-2 networks. The aim is to cover the chains where liquidity is deep and demand is real, so that swaps and off-ramps can settle reliably.

Networks are not interchangeable. They differ in fee levels, confirmation times, and the assets that live on them natively. A network that is cheap and fast for one asset may be the wrong choice for another. Supporting the major chains gives you room to pick the route that fits your priorities.

Why network choice affects fees and speed

The clearest example is a stablecoin that exists on several networks. The token itself is the same in spirit, but moving it on one network can cost a fraction of moving it on another, and confirmation times can differ widely. When you choose where an asset travels, you are also choosing its cost and speed profile.

This matters most when fees on a busy network climb during congestion. At those moments, routing the same value over a lower-cost network can make a meaningful difference to what finally settles. Multiswap factors network costs into its quotes, so the trade-offs show up in the figure you see.

Picking a network for your swap

When you begin a quote, consider both the asset and the network it should move on. If you are flexible, a lower-cost network can reduce the total cost of a swap or off-ramp. If you need the asset to arrive on a specific network for a downstream use, make sure you select that network and double-check the destination details, since on-chain transactions cannot be reversed.
